Media literacy conference: not only knowledge, but also lots of inspiration and emotions

On October 21, Tuleviku Meedia hosted the Media Literacy Conference in Tallinn, which was attended by over 110 people – mainly teachers and youth workers, as well as experts in the fields of education, communication, and social affairs, researchers, journalists, and Tuleviku Meedia's valued partners.

The program included master classes and presentations by practitioners on media, narrative, and financial literacy, as well as digital and AI tools for teachers. The conference was made possible thanks to the support of the British Council.

We would like to specially thank Ursula Roosmaa, Director of the British Council Estonia, who addressed the participants with opening remarks.

Special thanks and respect to the conference speakers!

Konverentsi esinejad ja meistriklasside lektorid: Dmitri Teperik (Resilience League), Oksana Belova-Dalton (Tartu University), Svetlana Sukhomyatnikova (Erakool Intellekt, Kohtla-Järve), Olesja Lagašina (DV.ee chief editor), Nadežda Lunina (Mustamäe Riigigümnaasium, Tallinna Pae Gümnaasium), Anna-Maria Ouertani (Postimees journalist), and Tuleviku Meedia founder Julia Rodina.

Many thanks to the British Council Estonia team and Ursula Roosmaa for supporting Tuleviku Meedia's projects since 2022!

Thanks to the support and the People to People program, we have organized more than 12 different projects and reached over 400 people, including students, teachers, and bloggers. In addition, articles written by our project participants - young journalists - have reached thousands of readers.
