We launched a new project for youth - Future Media Club

Tuleviku Meedia has launched a new project for youth - Future Media Club. Project is supported by Baltic Centre for Media Excellence and Google. The project is a part of Resilient Baltic initiative for local communities.

Our first lectures about media and information literacy have taken place in Tallinna Juudi Kool. We talked about the basics of media and information literacy, its concepts and positive impact, how social media can manipulate and affect us as users.

We also covered the topic of different kinds of manipulation in media and how to protect yourself from it and discussed examples of how social media and other media have affected them.

Many thanks to Tallinna Juudi Kool, the students and teachers, and special thanks to the school’s media teacher Alina Serkutan!
